Line Dancing with Pat Brant! Learn to line dance, step-by-step!  Leather-soled shoes are recommended! Pat teaches line dancing lessons weekly! Call 507-376-6457 to let us know if you would like to come! All are Welcome. Note: be sure to call ahead for info.

Did you know you can make valentines for the Valentine Factory project at the CAL! Robyn Moser set up a materials for anyone who is interested in stopping by the CAL to make a valentine! A volunteer group will soon deliver to Senior Living Communities and Skilled Nursing Facilities in the area. Hurry! Materials are still available at the CAL!!. 

Join us as we explore the art of making handmade paper! A discussion about Papermaking with Margaret Vosburgh took place Thursday, January 25th! You are still welcome to join us for our next meeting, where we will be making handmade paper...most likely in February!  Call 376-6457 to sign up!

Try Racquetball during the month of January and enter a drawing to win free guest passes or a 6 month membership! You do not have to be 55 for a racquetball-only membership. Racquetball memberships provide 24/7 access!  Individual, family, or student memberships available. Rackets and court times available from 8 am-3 pm M-F.

Coming soon!!! Jewelry Make-n-Take - Susan Middagh will provide designs/instruction for creating jewelry from glass or stone beads. Cost: $10 per necklace or bracelet; $5 for earrings. Classes: Monday afternoons at 12:30 pm. Pre-registration required. We are currently taking names for this class. Call 507-376-6457 to sign up.

Ancestry Research Talk at the Center for Active Living - Learn about AncestryLibrary.com* from the staff of the Nobles County Library. Unlock family history with sources like censuses, vital records, immigration records and many more. Thursday, February 1 at 1:30 pm Cost is free. All are Welcome. Note: AncestryLibrary.com is available for free at the library. 

Join the NEW Center for Active Living Genealogy research group or just come to learn! 

Make-n-Take Valentine Workshop! Kathy Myer will design/die cut card-making materials, so you can craft your own Valentines! Cost: $.75 per card (make as many as you would like). Thursday, Feb. 1st, 9 am -12:30.  You must call to reserve your spot - 376-6457. 

We are hosting a Center for Active Living Open House on Tuesday, February 6th! Learn about the CAL!  Enjoy an inexpensive lunch & receive a FREE pass for FEBRUARY! A member from each CAL activity group will be there to meet & greet you! CALL 376-9718 to RESERVE your Roast beef lunch by Feb. 2nd! Cost: $2.25 for lunch. Lunch sponsor: First State Bank Southwest.
